Covington United Presbyterian Church was established in 1828 as a vital congregation with strong traditional rural and family roots. Located in a rich agricultural area, it has maintained its stewardship connection with the people and their land. Changing demographics offer new opportunities and challenges for mission, ministry and service.
The Church looks forward to continuing the spiritiual leadership it has provided its members and sharing the love and blessing God has bestowed with all who seek close Christian fellowship with a community-minded and globally-concerned congregation. Covington centers its multi-generational worship services to satisfy worshipers spiritually and emotionally with scripture, sermons, and a strong musical heritage.
We offer weekly Sunday morning education opportunities--Sunday School for children and youth and Adult Education--as well as a monthly adult book group.
