Children are welcome in worship! Jesus says, “Let the little children come to me; do not stop them; for it is to such as these that the kingdom of God belongs” (Mark 10:14).
We feel that children are an integral part of worship. The session encourages you to bring your children and grandchildren to worship with you. When we baptize children, we commit to encouraging them to know and follow Christ in order that they might become believers and faithful members of the Church—we do this through guiding, nurturing, loving, praying, and worshiping together.
A special children’s bulletin based on the lectionary readings is available in the narthex. If your child needs a break from the pew, you may leave the sanctuary and return as you wish. Following the time for children, the nursery is available for children through first grade.
